[Sunday, April 8, 2007] Nearly 35 years ago, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Hagan Schmitt became the 12th and last man to step onto the Moon. He was the lunar module pilot for that mission, and carries the distinction of being the only geologist to ever walk on the lunar surface.

[Tuesday, April 17, 2007] The Lunar Lander Challenge is a prize contest designed to accelerate technology developments supporting the commercial creation of a vehicle capable of ferrying cargo or humans back and forth between lunar orbit and the lunar surface.

[Friday, April 27, 2007] NASA is offering a total of $200,000 for the team that can design and manufacture the best astronaut glove that exceeds minimum requirements. An additional $50,000 goes to the team that best demonstrates Mechanical Counter Pressure gloves.
